One of the Best Saturday!

That Saturday, after swimming and work… Four of us went for a long lunch plus chit chat sessions. Those three are Malaysians, and from the chat, I started to realize Government are vacuuming monies from our pockets through ERP, rising costs of food and many other things, taxes, and many other areas.

But in order for the country to grow, I think that’s the reason from the government. Normal citizens will start to complain about the rise of standard of living here. I started to look for ways to thrift on food, electricity, and personal grooming.

So after the long chat, I’m on my way to skating in East Coast…

After training for a while, I and some other skaters went to Jerome & Family birthday gathering. I thought the group wants to wait for the Otah Fish, but they left halfway because the Otah took quite long to be cooked. In the end, I brought the whole plate of foods to Hvper and share with those who are there.

Then prizes taking for the SNFC competition, and next I was asked to try the KSJ skates. I feel very well-supported in the KSJ but the problem is the heel part of the boots is too narrow and I can’t withstand my reverse eagle. SO PAINFUL!!! The reason is because the boots are custom.


“Hey Shirley! There are no ladies wearing KSJ…”


So after that “wonderful” evening of training my legs to bear that sharp pain for 2 hours, I got ready to go home. Cannot take it anymore after doing toe-toe walk, toe-toe spin, toe-toe final, and all the basics, toe-wheeling…

What about my prizes? I am willing to sell if you are in need of skate bags. The wheels are hot and I sold all of them. Since they asked me, it wouldn’t be nice to reject and we are all skaters! I think they are lucky to have seen me carrying a large bag like a Santa Claus. I think I am lucky that they have asked so I won’t be carrying so many things back home – KSJ, Many Wheels, 3 Bags (1 old + 2 new)… At first I don’t have any intention to sell one sia.

Wheels: Go and exchange for the right sizes and types of wheels for my own usage.
Gloves: May be give to Hvper.
Triangle Bag: Used it to carry skates to work.
Blue Micro Skates Bag: Not sure…


So far, that’s the best day I ever had since I started to work. On that day, I felt there’s a lot of great things happen for me. Shouldn’t be too happy though…


“Hey Felicia, don’t snatch Slalom Goddess from me. Bleah!”


I know a lot of you envy me, but it’s not easy to come to where am I now. Hard work is very essential with the right training and attitude and good time management. At the very beginning, I never do well enough. Only after that, then I strived to become better in my basics. So I planned a lot of trainings, and only allow one day rest per week. If I’m too tired, maximum is 2 days of rest and cut down one hour of training per day.

I used to be training like mad when I am not holding a proper full-time job. What about now? I juggle with a meagre hours of training per day and maximum 4 times per week. Most hours fall on Saturday. Sunday with mild training, whereas Monday rest. If I’m feeling good on Tuesday I will start training again. Hope to include swimming as part of recovery because my running shoes were stolen and I used to run to recover.


“Shoes also want to steal. I think the thief loves my feet odors. Mahahaha~”


Tomorrow, what should I train? Since my heal bones are in agony, I think focus those not using toe and heel. Haiyah… Toe moves are one of my favourite moves sia!


“Cannot do challenging moves, then do basic loh! Hee~”
