While the answer is no to most people out there. What a pity. It is such a nice place but the flooring is made of tiny pebbles slabs. I think that will be the first impression from most of the skaters.
I think otherwise, it got a great surface for slalom! I went to try the feel on the slab one day and was quite scared at first because if I fall down sure will be pricked by those millions of tiny bits. But hey! I got somehow addicted with the feeling, so I did my spins on it. Wow! I feel so much stable than on smooth surfaces!
Such a waste that it's in neighbourhood for people to do morning exercises and ocassionally to hold events. Might as well Slalom Angel go there and perform in the evening too. Haha~ Hope that nobody will complain ah...
The place is slightly bigger than the small rink in East Coast Park, it will be great if you can take the vibrations but actually there's not much though. Just that there's more frictions caused on your wheels, and I'm afraid your wheels might get worn out very fast.
Anyway, this shall be one of my training ground!
