WSC Singapore 2008

I took part in the competition for 3 days, despite not feeling well for 3 days. I don't know how I did it because I have been running in & out of the loos for not less than 8 times for every competition day. May be I have tried not to let many know unless they asked, so it seems nothing had happened at all and I'm very fine! Hahaha~ Yesterday I was caught up by fever... So today I really have to take MC.

Never expect this to happen.

Anyway... Kim Sung Jin is very HANDSOME!!! But really KSJ is really very handsome & his other Korean mate - Yu Jin Sung! Cute! Another one I'm not sure of his name... How I wish they know how to speak & understand more english. Ggrrrr~ abit difficult to communicate with them.
Ok, let's start with the real scenes.

Thursday, 11 Dec 2008 - Preparation of WSC ground

Venue: Chong Pang Zone court

Rushed to prepare my music CD with the help from vice-captain then rushed down to Sembawang to assist in helping to set up the competition ground. At the same time last rehearsal for my stuff. Wow! so many top skaters from 22 countries, and my legs are wobbling when doing stuff infront of them. Their skills are so fantastic that I was wowed by them for the whole day, and got real nervous.

Then was kinda shy la... KSJ smiled at me leh!!! Ok, he's real polite and asked me to use the cones after he'd finished using... Then a lady from Russia for did the Heel-Toe swan eagle also asked me to use the cones. DOUBLE-SHY!!!

OMG!! I felt their friendliness.... so warm & touching. I was melted & felt that there's alot to learn from them. Their skills, attitude & PR skills. You gonna see, they are all real friendly and open-minded.

Anyway, I thought I should do something to my nervousness...

Friday, 12 Dec 2008 - First day of WSC competition

Venue: Chong Pang Zone court

This day mark slide & speed slalom competition. I only took part in the latter & was the first person to have Best Result = No Result! I felt "honoured" & embarassing... Frankly speaking my legs were then wobbling after several diarrheoa episodes & the laces on my skates broke off. I have tried to rest more before that so I have missed the sliders' shows and really felt sorry for that. Hopefully can catch you all on upcoming videos!!

After that I tried to practise for the freestyle slalom category. I felt so weak when doing so... I was hoping furiously that I won't fall sick on the next day. Yeah, more interesting for the next day, and I was really looking forward to watch their styles!!!!!

Saturday, 13 Dec 2008 - Second day of WSC competition

Venue: Chong Pang Zone court

Finally! The day had come. Still nervous though even during the warm-up, but better than on Thursday. I was looking forward to our local guys performances including those Chinese & Koreans.

15 ladies & 48 guys!

That was so many that I felt we are exposed to more cultures, different styles which is beneficial to improve on our stuffs.... Hard to forget one was the Fan Dance by the Korean lady.

I suddenly realized Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, UK, USA are catching up with their style slalom. They are all very good!!

Out of 15 ladies, guess where am I? Argh~ It's actually quite below. Disappointed again? Mixture of that and yet raring to move on! Ok, I got the 10th position if I'm not wrong. The song Lucky chosen by me to perform at the same time to remind myself that I'm really lucky. Also for all my audiences and my fans if I'm your idol, we are really lucky and yet we don't realize it all time.

Here it goes - "I'm so Lucky Lucky, I'm so Lucky Lucky, I'm so Lovely Lovely, I'm so Lovely Lovely, .... think the rest is Korean words.

"Nowadays, you should be creative." I just heard these words accidentally... It's true yeah.

I was very surprised with the Jam performance... Awesome! Their performances are really Awesome! Think videos are coming up soon, still waiting for them!!! Yeah, videos are what we should watch, they tell alot more!

After the whole event, we were having dinner at SAF Tanah Merah. I felt so lucky to be able to interact with those top skaters from all over the world, especially Chen Chen. I was hoping to talk to her eversince I saw her who is so engrossed doing her stuff. OMG! I was with her almost the whole night!!! Hey peeps, think straight... It's a blessing for being rejected by some people who don't want to share their table with me. Hahaha!

Sunday, 14 Dec 2008 - Last day of WSC competition

Venue: Novena Square (Velocity)

I took part in Battle Slalom for the FIRST TIME!!! I think I should do it more often because I feel the fun of it!!! Really like what Megan told me. She told me that I should join in the fun so that's why I took part in it last minute. Thanks Megan, you are such a nice girl, and still I really love your hair! You go go go Megan!!

Alright, even though I was been kicked out during the first battle, I still think I want more & more. I want the kick from it. Finally feel not nervous. I did Kristy, Reverse Eagle and Heel Wheel spin without fail... Forgot what's the rest of the moves~ Hee~ After that Fever started to drift in.

Wonder how my Managers feel about my performances? Will I get my dream new skates?

In the end of the whole course of WSC, I'm raring to go for more! I want to do more than what I'm doing now!!!

Thanks to this event, it open my eyes real big. Maybe I've not seen much, but it's much more than all the competitions I've taken part in the past. I want more, I want more! I mean to participate more! Yeah!!!!

Last dinner, we MTS got to sit together for dinner and was there a drinking sessions. I don't drink ah so don't pull me in. Got to know afew more people, and some foreigners suddenly call out my name. Never talk to them before, anyway, I felt so honoured! Secret: I was with the 10 years-old girl on the whole bus journey. I feel so lucky!!!

At last ASB shaked my hand, for putting up the hard work. Yesh! I will work harder! after my toes are healed...

-----------------------

Bid farewell to our beloved foreign skaters. I hope with all my heart to see them again, next year. Looking forward for the videos to be uploaded.

I may not be the best player of the team, I may not be the nicest person, I may not be the most popular person, I may not be an open person, but at least I'm the person who feel that she's a lucky girl afterall!

It's alright that people look down on me... like what a Taiwanese had said. People have eyes, they know what they are doing. "wo4.... ni3 bi3 shi4 qiu1 lian2!" We are not open enough, that is. If we open our eyes big enough, you will realize how the foreigners interact with each others.

They dance, they laugh, they joke, they play... all hard.

I'm the kind of hombre who loves to taste unprecedented stuff. Presently I am manufacturing my private solar panels. I'm making it all alone without the help of my staff. I'm using the internet as the only path to acheive that. I saw a truly awesome website that explains how to build photovoltaic panels and so on. The place explains all the steps needed for solar panel construction.

I am not really sure bout how correct the info given there is. If some experts over here who had xp with these things can have a see and give your feedback in the thread it would be awesome and I'd extremely appreciate it, because I really love solar panel construction.

Thanks for reading this. You people are great.
