No need to work! But cannot skate, and I'm getting bored.
Everybody's talking about New Year New Year, alright I will just describe all the humble "sins" that I've done. Sorry peeps, no pictures! Pictures can only be seen on that days themselves ;)
Eve of Chinese New Year
- Of course! Needless to say we are busy hustling around the house to do touch up and cleanings.
- Then I slack awhile for last minute shopping for food and ingredients. Yeah, most shops gonna closed for the next 2-5 days so we must be prepared. If not, things are gonna be extremely expensive during the festival. Luckily we still have MacDonald's, Cheers and 7Eleven around. Reasonable enough~
- Putting up decorative items become my job. Let me the "Creative Director" be in charged! And all my lucky stickers are gone...
- 2 great chefs gonna wiped out extremely scrumptious yummy delicious dishes! Sheez... trying to make them happy, only. And plus a desert chef who is in-charged for our sweet "memories"!
- In the end, the food were happily in all our stomachs. Hard on you lo, my dear stomach. There goes the reunion dinner.
- A little squabbling, while it's alright! Tomorrow will get better!
The above is only a beginning... Looks like feasting is the major part for my/our celebrations!
1st Day of Chinese New YearIt's the 1st day I may seems to be so free, still got time to skate. The next day, here it comes... Feasting on Day 2!
- The first thing we did the moment we woke up - Bai Nian lo! with our parents and get Ang Baos. Mum the first. We need to wait for the "real" Lunar New Year for another. According to dad it's on the 10th day of the 1st Lunar Month. Ok, whatever~
- Before that, all of us must crack our brains real hard to think of auspicious phrases to wish her... Bi li pa la, all kind of words came out. LOL~
- Planning of where to go and what a pity we have to give Grandpa's house a miss.
- Late lunch = Reunion Lunch! There! Another feast! In the morning felt some food still not digested... So another round of scrumptious yummy delicious dishes by 2 different chefs! Another round of dessert by the same chef! I ate lesser this time, really can't contain anymore!
- Finished and make cleaning fast and slack! I'm still cracking my brains on something... rather important.
- The next thing I found is I'm skating in East Coast! and saw so many tentages around the once beautiful beach... Grrrr... Never mind. It's festival.
- Someone got on my nerves and I started to shout at her... She really f*cking bitch! Hit me more than once never even apologize. So I think never mind since she's too noob until cannot noob. When you saw her you will think she must be a very nice girl looking so silly in skates. Pui! She's a bitch!!!! Looking at her 20's!!! The next thing she did was kicking all the cones with her noob friend beside and still got the face to laugh her ass off. I also think never mind lah, she's noob ma. I bear with it. Worse come to worse, she came and kick all the cones again more than twice dashing around the rink and make the place so dangerous when there are so many small noob kids around. For the safety for others, I decided to SHOUT AT HER TO EMBARRASS HER. It really works man! She skate out of the rink immediately and disappear into the crowd! Now the rink is safer without her! I'm the heroine for the day!
- After this, somebody's bike seems to be lost... anyway found in the end!!! So relieve for them!
- Ah~ going to the beach can be so eventful.
2nd Day of Chinese New Year
- Feeling blues waking up. I just feel not right when we give Grandpa's a miss, still.
- Preparing to visit our cousins' house! My favorite cousins!
- Lunchtime at their house! This time is a scrumptious yummy delicious steamboat lunch! According to all of us accept me, their giant prawns are the best of all. The best thing about steamboat is - it's healthy, full of tastes soup base, we can choose our ingredients and the gathering is fun too!
- Their hospitality is great ever since so many years...
- Karaoke sessions! Sang until my throat sores... Think we sang for the whole evening!!! till 9pm...
- So 9pm it's time for home sweet home? No no no! Hahaha, we are having Cheevaz Yum Seng!!! The pure icey cold Green Tea for me, they thought I'm below 21!!!!!! OMG!
- We were having cousins, their boyfriends, some friends, and some of us: total 8 people 52 cards on the table. No joking, Multi-Nations on the table - Myanmar, Pakistan, Singapore, plus Mix-Nations...
- The young ones went home with dad and we are up for the cards!! $2 $5 even $10... WOW! Bold ones. The most I place $2 nia. Sheeez~ We are all playing for fun!!!
- All's Well End's Well and Home Sweet Home! She & me so lucky to send a handsome pakistanis home. Not too bad~
So third day woke up got sore eye. See some more guys la! Those Myanmar guys are very handsome too! Too bad, we shall see them next year! Because I'm plain lazy to get their contacts.
Excuses ha-ha.
This coming Sat busy, next Fri busy...
