First Night of Slalom for Slalom Angel

Sneeze! again~ Argh!!! I am sick again...

I want to declare:

I LOVE SLALOM, LOTS!

Do you mean it?

What do you love about freestyle slalom?

To what point that you consider yourself love slalom?

What if one day somebody or some incidents caused you to fall out of love for slalom, will you still love slalom?

Love for this sports, passion for this sports. Some people might just be still searching for that "feel". There are some who have attained the passion, the love for it. Congrats to you!

It was dark, half past seven about 2 years ago. Slalom Angel was still in her recreational skates and having fun in her own world. She was thinking about those people whom she'd just met. They played with their own style - slalom & slide in some special skates she'd never seen before.

Never in her mind she would want to try slalom or slide. Both appeared as complicated sports to her. She thought: "Maybe next time! I can't even stop properly..."

Slalom Angel reached a "playing ground" and saw some people learning slalom. There were a few ladies who are in pretty outfits doing slalom. To her, they looks professional until they told her that they only learned slalom for a few days. But, looks incredible to her!

One of the ladies then pulled her arms and asked her to try going through the cones by crossing her legs. There a fall on her butt, and again. She'd fallen a few times while doing her recreational routine.

"Never mind! Try again! Quick! Stand up!" A sweet voice sounded out and those people sounds really encouraging. Slalom Angel started to stand up and tried again, but a senior taught her some essential basics before she moved on with those cones.

On that night, she'd learned to stop. Snake & fish through the cones. That marks the First Night of Slalom for Slalom Angel!

She'd never regret knowing that group of people. Now the only thing she's afraid, it was to do slalom in front of them because she had not seen them doing it for such a long time. Knowing they are the seniors of hers, she's really grateful of them. Without them, she won't be where she is now.

The passion wasn't light up overnight, it was the time and gradually she really fall in love for freestyle slalom skating after going through many events, training & competitions. Watching so many great skaters from oversea, Slalom Angel starts to place her goal higher than before.
