WSC Selections

I just added my achienvements!!!

Selection for WSC 2009 will be on 2nd May 2009. Very sad. I was thinking, should I be involved again? Alright, I had registered anyway. If you are interested to know what is that, below are the details by Shirley taken from http://www.micro.com.sg/forum/viewtopic.php?t=915

Dear skaters

I am please to inform you that the 3rd World Freestyle Slalom Championship will be host in Shanghai China from 20th to 23rd Aug 2009

The event is organised by China Roller Sports Association and endorsed by FIRS.

Below are the official sports that feature in the competition
1. Freestyle Slalom
2. Speed Slalom
3. Jam Slalom
4. Slide
5. Battle Slalom (open sport)

Under CRSA regulations, No. of athletes that is qualified for each category - 6 mens and 6 womens.
Tentetively no confirmation for jr catergory, jr athletes are welcome to take part in the open catergory. I shall keep all inform should i received any further updates from CRSA.

The Singapore Roller Sports had appointed WSSA to organise a open selection for the above event. Only top 6 athletes for each category will be selected to represent the country for the event. Should any of the qualified athlete unable or would like to withdraw for any personal reason. The opportunity shall given to the next following ranking athlete.
Please take noted that all airfare, accommodation and other expenditure shall be bond by yourself. The Singapore Roller Sports Association and the organizer [CRSA] shall not be responsible for the above expenses.

Please be informed that the selection shall held on 2nd May 2009 at Mega Game Court next to Sun Plaza Mall. The selection starts at 10am - 6pm
Due to logistic and organization issues I would appreciate early submission of registration forms by 20th of April latest. Late entries and registrations on site is not acceptable. All athlete is advised to arrive 1 hours early for check in. WSSA shall not hold responsibility for late comers and have the authority to disqualify the entry. No funding from RS for this selection and is only fair to WSSA that a registration fee of $5 to be charge for number tag,logistic and sound system.
Please submit your song/music in CD format upon your registration at HVPER SPORT east coast. Lastly, below are the catergory for the open selection.
