There are so many different names for each Slalom move out there, and it can be so confusing. If possible, I will stick to the names that are commonly used. While you are learning the moves, you need not worry too much on the names, unless you are having theory exams on Slalom moves? Unless there's such a course.
It's not worth to quarrel with your friends about the names.
This is sometimes the problem I came upon when people asked me about the names of the slalom moves. The other party ended up agitated because some people told them other names and next I was telling them another name. I think I better shut up for good...
I am remaking a list of those slalom moves so I can remember what I had taught my students. They will also be able to know their progress.
After listing, I realized that my current students have actually learnt half the list of foundation moves.
My conclusions: You may listen to others about Various names for a particular slalom move, in the end you still must learn the correct way to perform that move.
