Are You Defeated?

I have to remind myself, having competition is not end of the world. Its a chance to learn from others and to improve myself.

Sometimes I dislike competition. It seems like there will always be loser and winner. Not fair. Why can't both be winner? Why can't there be a win win situation? Why must there be people out there to crush us out.

In the end, all these are just our mindsets on how we view the situations. How we perceive? Has the winner really won? Has the loser really lose?

Those who win might be because many people like but the quality is not there.

Those who lose might be because lesser people like and not well known but the quality is there.

But the feeling of losing is so defeating. It is common and likely to feel upset and defeated when one lose, go bankrupt, down into misery.

Its alright to feel that way though. But we have to be positive back after the defeat. There's no way we can face the world feeling defeated. So who are there to support us when we are defeated?

Our friends? Our families? They can become the catalyst to our seems defeated lives. I think the most powerful ones are real lives stories that can help us out of the defeat.

I was defeated many times. I was wronged before. I was seriously abused before. I was hated by others before. I failed my exams. I was ill-treated and abused by several employers. I was maligned.
At one point, I thought I had lost. What's the point of living with so many negative things going through my life.

Until I came to a point whereby I want to turn my life around. I try very hard. Exploring several techniques and read up alot. Learning that it all start within myself. Becoming more positive. I can get out of all these rugs. I believe I can change my life. Its a book that had changed my life.
It was a gradual change. I did realise it. People who had abused me started to leave my life gradually and it was hard to even stay in contact. New positive people started to enter my life.

Overall, its the energy you have. The energy within yourself is so important. In order to change that energy you are required to do some work daily. It can be prayer, it can be meditation, it can be how you think and feel, it can be some therapy, it can be visualisation.

Please do it moderately.

I once went into intense meditation and got myself into some trounble. I started to hear voices. Although they seems to be offerring helpful advices but its not healthy to be able to hear voices.

I also got over that obstacle through medication and therapy.

Frankly speaking, I find myself not losing much temple and gain more self-discipline than before after that troubling period but I lose my confidence.

So I want to gain back my confidence and start talking to people so I came upon a therapy called EFT. I'm a winner! I really found back my confidence and talk to many people after that even share them the technique and teach them.

It even helped me to lose grudges on my negative mum. It even helped me to overcome some of my fears and release my pain. Maybe to some of you, its too good to be true but the experience is real!

I don't know you, but I sincerely care. If you want to share your stories on being defeated, please share it by sending email to slalom.angel(at)gmail.com
